KosherSlides does not collect your name, email, IP address, or any personal data during normal use. Your videos are never uploaded to any server. We use no cookies for tracking or advertising.
1. Who We Are
VideoToSlides.com / KosherSlides ("we", "us") operates the website at https://videotoslides.com and distributes free tools including the web converter, Kosher Slides Player, and links to the Chrome extension by Aron Dirnfeld.
2. The Converter App
The web converter at videotoslides.com/app is a client-side application. Your videos never leave your device. All video processing uses browser-native APIs (Canvas, MediaRecorder, Web Audio). No data is transmitted to any server during conversion.
3. Chrome Extension
The Chrome extension "Kosher Video Slideshow" is developed and maintained by Aron Dirnfeld independently. For that extension's privacy practices, please refer to its listing on the Chrome Web Store.
4. Website Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use our website (page views, session duration, countries, browser types). This data is aggregated and anonymized — it does not identify you personally. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Ad Impressions & Clicks
The converter app displays optional advertisements loaded from a Google Apps Script endpoint. When ads are loaded, a silent impression event is logged (ad slot identifier only — no personal data). When you click an ad, a click event is logged. No personal identifiers are stored.
6. Contact Form
If you use our contact form, you voluntarily provide your name, email, and message. This is stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to the site administrator, used solely to respond to your inquiry. You may request deletion at any time via the contact page.
7. Third-Party Services
- Google Fonts — loads typefaces; Google receives your IP address
- Google Analytics — anonymized usage statistics
- Google Apps Script — serves ads and receives contact form submissions
We do not use Facebook Pixel, advertising networks, or behavioral tracking.
8. Children's Privacy
KosherSlides is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
You may request access, correction, or deletion of any personal data we hold (which applies primarily to contact form submissions). Contact us via the contact page.
